Big T's BBQ and Smokehouse
2138 Crowchild Trail NW
Dinner Host: Kwesi

Big T’s BBQ and Smokehouse was next up for this dinner schedule! It turned out being a "Four Horseman" type of gathering instead of the “Full Nine Lives”, as five of the members were A.W.O.L. for this round.
The organizer for this round (yours truly) was the last of the squad to arrive, but without punishment since it was two minutes before the 3:00pm set time. To elaborate, one of our rules is if the organizer for the Man’s Dinner is late for the time the dinner is scheduled, he has to pay for everyone’s meal, so tardiness does not go without penalty!
Now for the food menu… We started off with the Fried pickles as the appetizer. My take on the pickles is, if you don’t use or get a decent sauce to dip it in, you might as well "dip out" on that appetizer completely! Luckily, each of the sauces we got were on point. We had some BBQ, Carolina, Hot, and some Sweet & Tangy!
Our main course the for the group was Big T's well known “Big T’s Platter”! This consisted of Sliced Brisket, Pulled Pork, St. Louis Ribs, Half Chicken, Rib Ends, Andouille Sausage, Coleslaw, Beans, Fries, Gravy, Cornbread and Buns. The only thing missing were the Grits!
Overall, another successful dinner in the books. One item of note we have welcomed our newest member to the club, Andrew “Iron Liver” Pohlud!!
This concludes my segment on the Big T’s breakdown. Till next time, keep calm and finish your plate!
